Fulfilling a need.

Recently approached by a mother of an autistic girl who really wants to draw and was aware of my own daughter's talent and autism. We have decided to form a small exclusive club and have added a third autistic girl who recently lost her mum to cancer. We are going to call it 'Artism by Doodle' (my daughter's nickname). In recent years a couple of the girls were invited to the gifted and talented art club run by the school but this has ended due to the pandemic. My hope is that we can provide a safe space for the girls to explore their artistic talents whilst allowing their autism to be free. Magdalen Counsel provides the perfect umbrella for this sort of initiative. Perhaps in the future we can provide other support to autistic girls.
